What's an Orcmid? |
nfoCentrale.com
and its
predecessors back to the 1999 introduction of InfoNuovo.com.Current Contact Information:Dennis conceives of nfoWorks as a site for serious development of document system interoperability. It is a sibling to nfoWare, the companion for more elementary and informational treatment. nfoWare supports neophyte programming and application projects. nfoWare is a deeper dive into document-processing forensics, validation, and reference implementations. It has a history in the original intention for DMware, but concentrating on electronic documents themselves, not the collective management of documents. A common theme across all of these sites is adherence to standards and software quality principles, especially those around trustworthiness.
And the Orcmidity of all this:, having created two similar names, nfoWorks and nfoWare, Dennis can't keep them straight. And, since one can never have too many unfinished projects, the emergence of Orcmid is further documented here, sort of.
One more little thing: Orcmid has always wanted to create a web-site adventure game that involved finding secret links and entering a hidden world. You read it here first. There isn't anything yet. No, really. There will be clues somewhere, sometime. Just know that you must Come As You Are to the Dungeon.
